Eastern European Security Community meets again in Kiew

The 16th edition of the international trade show for the security industry, Bezpeka | Security 2011, being performed by Ukraine's no. 1 b2b exhibition group Euroindex at the KyivExpoPlaza venue, showed an increase of almost 15% in net square meters sold. Thus Bezpeka, being held from 25 – 28 October 2011, proved that it is indeed the leading show on an Eastern European scale for the security community.

Alongside Bezpeka two other smaller exhibitions were co-located: GREEN EXPO , the 3rd international trade show and conference for alternative energy (26 – 28 October) and EKOTEX, a specialised show for environmental protection, waste management & recycling as well as water management and treatment. Together the three shows reached a size of around 3.600 sqm net exhibition space indoor.

At Bezpeka | Security a German Lounge was organised for the 3rd consecutive time, this year being supported by world market leaders like Bosch Security and Geutebrück as well as a leading German association for the security sector. Around 400 trade marks were represented at the exhibition, which was visited by altogether around 9.000 trade visitors, a plus of more than 10% compared to the last edition.

An important part of the show programme were several congresses, dealing with topics such as “Security of EURO 2012 Football Championship” and “Factors to ensure successful wind energy projects”.

The next Bezpeka | Security will take place from 23 – 26 October 2012, again at KyivExpoPlaza, the leading venue in the Ukrainian capital.
