A new all time high of 628.000 visitors was achieved by Messezentrum Salzburg in the past year 2011, representing an increase of over 57 per cent during the last six years (2005: 399.000 visitors). Altogether 32 trade fairs and exhibitions took place in 2011 at the exhibition venue, gathering 5.600 exhibitors. In the adjacent Salzburgarena over 60 special events were held in the same period.

EFEA, The Europe+Asian Event Forum will gather event industry professionals from 18 – 20 January 2012 in St. Petersburg. The new project intends to foster regional and international cooperation in the events industry market, incorporating exhibition, meeting as well as business and incentive travel topics. Regional sessions will address the challenges of the exhibition industry in the CIS and other Eastern European countries.

The 16th edition of the international trade show for the security industry, Bezpeka | Security 2011, being performed by Ukraine's no. 1 b2b exhibition group Euroindex at the KyivExpoPlaza venue, showed an increase of almost 15% in net square meters sold. Thus Bezpeka, being held from 25 – 28 October 2011, proved that it is indeed the leading show on an Eastern European scale for the security community.

From 25 to 28 October 2011, the German Lounge will be present at 16th Bezpeka | Security, the key trade show for the security market in Ukraine and surrounding Eastern European countries.

Global market players from the safety & security industry like Geutebrück will exhibit at the German collective booth and renowned associations like TeleTrust are represented within the Lounge concept.

For this year, the organiser of Bezpeka | Security, Euroindex Ltd., is expecting about 170 exhibitors from 9 countries on 8.000 sqm.
